As much as we love the rain & needed it after the hot weeks of summer, being off grid with this weather certainly has it's challenges, but we will survive 💪

If nothing else, the rain has been a warning for the cold winter that we must prepare for.

Preparations for winter is on top of our priorities for now, besides all athletics meets🏃🏻‍♂️, swim galas🏊🏻‍♀️ and training for world champs🏃🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️🔫 at the end of the year, in between everything else.

But for today, we are thankful for the breather in the rain🌧️ and the little bit of sunshine🌤️, we are even leaving the coop roofs open to the chickens to bask in the sun🌞
